Located in the heart of the village of Veynes since 1999, the “Ecomusée du Cheminot” tells two centuries of history and railway memory in the Alps.This Ecomusée was created by railway workers from our territory. You would discover the famous “Railway Star of Veynes’. Reconstructions, videos and models are on display in this Ecomusée.
Opening of the “Ecomusée du Cheminot” from Wednesday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. On the occasion of the Veyn’Art, the museum’s opening hours are extended.
The combined ticket allows you to travel with Veyn’Art and visit the Ecomusée du Cheminot during your visits to Veynes.

Come and discover the clothing collection of the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum welcomes you from July 1st to August 31st on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4pm to 6pm (guided tour at 5pm) + every Thursday from 10am to 12:30pm (guided tour at 11am).
